What Higluk is

Higluk is a ski and snowboard game for phones, developed and published by Pewén Labs SpA. By downloading and playing it you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use it.

Your account

An anonymous account is created when you open the game. Linking it to Apple or Google is optional and lets you recover it on another phone. You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping access to the Apple or Google account you linked.

You must be at least 13 years old to play, or the age your country's law requires if higher. Anyone who declares they are under 13 plays without an account and without social features.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Higluk on devices you control, under the rules of the store you downloaded it from. The game, its code, art, sounds and text belong to Pewén Labs SpA and are protected by intellectual property law.

You may not decompile, modify or redistribute the game, or use its content in another product without our written permission.

The resorts are fiction

The ski resorts in the game, such as Cordón Blanco · Valle Alto, are fictional. Their terrain is inspired by the geography of the Andes, but their names, art and everything that happens in them are our invention. Higluk is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any ski resort, and does not represent their facilities, conditions or services.

Any third-party trademarks mentioned belong to their owners. Nothing in the game is a real mountain guide: on real snow, follow the instructions of the resort and its ski patrol.

Geographic data

The terrain is built from open data: maps © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the ODbL, and Copernicus DEM elevation models, produced with funding from the European Union.

Sharing the mountain

Higluk is multiplayer: you meet other people and ride the lifts together. That is why the following is not allowed:

• Harassing, threatening, discriminating against or insulting other players.
• Impersonating another person, a ski resort or us.
• Posting sexual, violent or hateful content, or advertising.
• Cheating, modifying the game, automating play or exploiting bugs to gain an advantage or bother others.
• Interfering with the servers or with other players' experience.

Nicknames and moderation

Everyone can see your nickname. It goes through a filter for serious terms and must be unique. Even if it passes the filter, moderation may ask you to change it if it is offensive, discriminatory, sexual, impersonates someone or works as advertising, and if you don't, we may replace it with a generic one.

What players post

What you write in the game —your nickname and, once available, chat— is yours and your responsibility. You allow us to store, display and transmit it to other players as needed for the game to work. We may hide or delete content that breaks these terms, without prior notice when it is serious.

If you see something that's not right, write to contacto@pewen.dev with the player's nickname and what happened.

Online play

Multiplayer depends on a connection and on our servers. We do our best to keep it available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

Purchases

Higluk has no purchases today. When it does, they will be processed by Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing depending on the store, refunds will be handled by the store, and we will publish the conditions here before enabling them.

Suspension and termination

If you break these rules we may change your nickname, limit your online features or close your account, depending on how serious it is. When we can, we warn first.

You can leave whenever you want: see how to delete your account.

The game over time

Higluk is a live game. We may add, change or remove content, resorts and features, and adjust the balance, because that is part of keeping it alive.

No warranty

Higluk is provided “as is”. We do our best to make it work well on supported devices, but we don't guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. What we do is fix what breaks: write to us.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pewén Labs SpA's liability for any claim related to the game will not exceed the amount you paid in it during the previous twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights your country's law grants you that cannot be waived.

Data controller

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game changes. If the change is relevant we will announce it in the game. The date above always reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Santiago.
